Welcome to the crew behind FlyGuysNLies. Lew founded FlyGuysNLies after a lifetime of chasing trout across the West, and built the website and app around real trips, local notes, photos, river observations, and product decisions made by anglers who actually use the tools.

Who Does What

FlyGuysNLies is built and operated by In The Foam LLC. Lew sets product direction and content standards and makes the final call on everything that ships, on the website and in FlyGuysNLies Mobile alike. The crew supplies the rest: on-the-water perspective, photos, feedback, and the kind of river context you only get by actually fishing these places.

The list below is exactly what it looks like — real people and the roles they actually play here. If someone's listed as crew, that's the job they do.

One thing worth saying plainly: we're anglers, not an agency. Rules change, closures happen fast, and fire restrictions don't wait for a website update. For regulations, closures, river access, fire restrictions, emergencies, and official water data, the agency or land manager that controls the water is the source that counts — check with them before you go. We work to keep our information current, but the people who write the rules are the ones to trust on the rules.
