Fishing Log Data

Favorites and Preferences Data
When you use the application:

- We collect your group memberships (premium feature)
Contacts Access for Invites
When you choose Invite from Contacts in FlyGuysNLies Mobile:
- We may request access to your device contacts so you can choose a recipient for an invite
- Contacts access is optional and requested only when you use that feature
- Contact names, phone numbers, and address book contents are used locally on your device to display contacts and prepare the SMS invite
- Contact names, phone numbers, and address book contents are not uploaded to FlyGuysNLies servers
- No invite is sent unless you choose a contact and send the message yourself through your device's SMS composer
Location Data
When you use location-based features:
- We collect location data for emergency contacts (to show nearest hospitals, ranger stations)
- We collect location data for user-specific map points
- Location data is used only for safety and convenience features and is not shared with third parties (except emergency services if you call 911)
Offline Storage Data
When you download content for offline access:
- We store downloaded content (river data, libraries, logs) encrypted on your device.
Premium Subscription Data
- Subscription status is managed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- We do not store payment information.
Data Sync (Premium Feature)
- Premium Cloud Backup & Sync is optional.
- When enabled, backed-up data is encrypted in transit and at rest and stored on secure servers.
- Backups are private to your account and used only to restore and sync your data across devices.
- Private fishing reports and trip data are not sold.
- Uploaded backup photos are optimized before upload, and source metadata may be stripped as part of that optimization process.

How Long We Retain Your Data

- Account deletion: Deleting your account removes associated retained cloud backups and account data.
