Description
Bull Trout are distinguished by a large, 'bull-like' head and mouth. They have olive-green to blue-gray bodies with pale yellow and orange/red spots. Crucially, they lack any black spots on their body or fins, and their fins have a distinct white leading edge.
Habitat
Bull Trout have the strictest habitat requirements of any Western trout:

They require water temperatures consistently below 55ยฐF (13ยฐC) and exceptionally clean gravel for spawning.
Large River & Lake Systems
