Description

The Snake River Cutthroat Trout (Oncorhynchus clarkii behnkei), also known as the fine-spotted cutthroat, is a native subspecies endemic to the Snake River drainage in Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, and Nevada. This beautiful fish is highly prized by anglers for its fighting ability and stunning appearance.

Snake River cutthroat are distinguished by their fine, profuse spotting pattern that extends well forward on the body and head. They have a golden-yellow to olive-green coloration with the characteristic red-orange slash under the jaw.
